Heather Campbell

Heather has a Bachelor’s degree in Criminology from St. Mary’s University & spent many years on the East Coast working with the Federal government (including the Correctional Service of Canada), coming to the Yukon in 2005. Heather has worked as a consultant for several Yukon First Nations on justice related matters. She has been appointed to a number of Yukon Territorial Boards and Commissions as well as served on the RCMP “M” Division Commanding Officers First Nations Advisory. Heather also served as Mayor of Faro Yukon from 2009-2014, and is a recipient of the Queens Diamond Jubilee Medal for community service. 

In 2018 Heather graduated from University of British Columbia with a Certificate in Immigration Law, Policy & Procedure, and is a Regulated Immigration Consultant, and a Notary Public (May 2019) in and for the Yukon Territory.

Clary Peters

Clary has a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from St. Francis Xavier University and is a 30 year veteran of the Federal public service. He has worked for many Federal departments throughout his career and has spent the last 17 years with IRCC, 13 as a Citizenship and Immigration Officer.

At IRCC Clary handled complex immigration files including refugee claims, criminal rehabilitation and applications for permanent residence based on humanitarian and compassionate grounds. In addition, Clary has extensive experience processing work permit, study permit, and visitor record extension applications.

Clary likes to relax by building model ships and is a member of the Maritime Ship Modelers Guild. His special interest is Titanic. He has been maintaining a nine-foot model of Titanic in the Halifax Public Gardens for over 20 years. He also restores models, and is an excellent marksman.
